Oh my, where do I start with this wedding! I turned up at the cutest little place, The Black Bull in Kirkby Fleetham, and was immediately welcomed in by the staff there. I can highly recommend staying here, it's absolutely beautiful, incredible food and the staff were SO NICE! It honestly makes a huge difference to my day when the staff are welcoming, I am there all day after all!
Because it was a wedding in a theatre, people had gone to extra special lengths with their outfits and everyone looked so dapper! Speaking of outfits, Jude had MADE her dress herself, yep, all by herself and had put in POCKETS!!! Every girls dream right there.
We took a short drive to the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond where the ceremony was to take place. Pete's dad did a lovely reading from The Owl and the Pussycat and then had a MOON projected onto the wall.
I'm putting a lot of capitals in this post - I'm excited.
On the way back to The Black Horse we stopped off at Easby Abbey, as if we needed any nicer locations! It was a lot of fun wandering round taking photos. At The Black Horse we all had drinks, lovely speeches, some cracking dinner and then finished off with a band and a brilliant party. If I didn't have to drive home I would have stayed for sure!
As you can tell, I'm still pretty excited about this wedding, not only was it a super super day with amazing locations and decor etc, everyone was SO lovely, I genuinely felt like one of the guests, I can't wish Pete and Jude enough happiness for their future.
