Lucy and Steve had the most glorious wedding, I am so grateful for being a part of it!
They started their day at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet which is where I went on many school trips so it was so lovely that I could go back and shoot a wedding there many years later. Lucy had just discovered that she was in fact pregnant and I think you'll agree she look blooming marvellous in her dress with her little baby bump.
After exploring the Hamlet we went for a play in the bluebells which was so lovely, absolutely perfect timing for a wedding that's right next to the woods - so many bluebells!
For the speeches and party we headed to 99 Mary Street where we had pie and peas (YES!) and an absolute corker of a wedding crashing by New York Brass Band, who are in fact one of my absolute favourites so you can imagine my excitement at them being there. Also, keeping a secret like that from the wedding guests all day was a proper challenge. But I succeeded and it was a party to never forget.
What a day! So many memororable venues, bands and moments. I won't be forgetting this one for a very long time. Good luck to Lucy and Steve with their new little family!
