Corinne + Neil | Cosy Sheffield Town Hall Wedding at The Broadfield

The great thing about being from Sheffield is that sometimes weddings pop up in your home town that are held in your favourite venues and it’s just so super homely!

I joined the Seven Hills WI in January and I have already made some absolutely wonderful friends, one of them being Corinne. When Corinne approached me about photographing her wedding I was so happy to do it, I absolutely love photographing weddings anyway but to be able to share your day with someone your already friends with is just brilliant.

It was my smallest wedding yet with just 27 guests during the day and an extra 13 in the evening. The ceremony was held at the Town Hall with the reception being held at one of my favourite Sheffield places, The Broadfield. Of course there was plenty of pie, I would go as far to say that I had one of the best pies I’ve ever had that day… Slightly bold statement but I’m okay with that!

The whole day was just totally DIY with flowers being picked from Corinne’s mum and dads, wedding favours totally home made, the bridesmaid dress was made up fro scratch by Grandma and the most impressive was the fact that Corinne had made her own dress, yes that’s right MADE HER OWN DRESS! Amazing.

It was such a cute and cosy day, I loved sharing the day with them and taking some lovely snaps as I went along.
